What We Do
Founded by Dr. Peter Butana Ngcobo, Africa Drum Kingdom LLC has proudly shared the rich cultural heritage of South Africa for more than 35 years. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, with deep roots in South Africa, our organization inspires audiences through authentic African music, dance, storytelling, and interactive drumming experiences. Our performances have been featured at major international events, including the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Florida.
Our mission is to preserve African cultural heritage, promote unity through music and dance, develop youth leadership, and deliver impactful educational experiences. Through our Drum Kingdom and Zulu Kingdom programs, we educate, entertain, and build bridges between cultures while inspiring young people through the power of African arts. We serve schools, universities, corporations, festivals, and communities across the United States and around the world.
